The Network Development Department is responsible for e.g.:

  • developing strategies for the WSB Group’s territorial expansion
  • activating and promoting the WSB Group’s territorial expansion
  • planning, coordinating and supporting the market entry of new WSB Schools and faculties
  • auditing and stimulating the growth of newly founded Schools and faculties
  • screening higher education institutions with a view to mergers and acquisitions
  • coordinating efforts relating to due diligence



"The current demographic low, and the resulting decrease in the number of secondary school leavers, will remain one of the big challenges for the education market in the next several years. It seems rather obvious that some privately-owned institutions of higher learning will not survive under these conditions. Survivors will be among those that have applied an efficient business model allowing them to stay financially sound and sustain growth. For some, there may be no better option than a merger, or a takeover by a stronger institution. We do have the higher education management know-how that others need, and we are ready to incorporate new partners within the framework of the WSB Group."
